The burn prevention committee works to reduce the incidents of burns and scalds by educating parents and children on burn prevention. The committee attends health fairs and does class presentations as well as other community events. The Selma Fire Department, Alisa Ann Ruch Burn Foundation, and the Fresno Fire Department are just a few agencies that work together to educate the community on burn prevention and fire safety.
